Well the spring certainly sprung on us this year with a sudden change in the weather and sudden huge demand for local veg and flowers!
We have taken a few weeks to decide on the best responses to these new circumstances through selling what produce we have before our main shares start on the 22nd of May.
At the moment we are selling Greens Bags through Hansens Kitchen for those that live in Comrie please contact Ian email@example.com to order from him and are looking at various options for pick up points for our Crieff customers please email us firstname.lastname@example.org to order them.
They are £9.50 for a mix of our seasonal produce including- spring green cabbage, spicy stir fry mix, salad, radish, chard/ spinach, herbs and rhubarb.
We are delivering beautiful bouquets to your door on Thursday evening (Crieff) Friday mornings (Comrie) or to pick up, details here http://www.tomnaha.com/bouquets-to-order.html
As we usually have our trainee growers join us from April to October this has been a little tricky this year, we were delighted to have Nat join us from Northumberland who has an interest in setting up her own project down there and learning all she can from us.
We have also had so many offers of help from locals which has made us feel so supported within our community. We have had to change the way we work to make it a safe space to be and limit the amount of people on the field at once so wont be able to have anyone else join us but thank you so much for your offers of help.
We have had another 30 hens join us who should start laying in time for our veg shares in May, look out for blue eggs (only a very limited amount theres only two hens!)
For those of you signed up to our veg shares this year we will be emailing you soon to discuss how we think it will work this year, there will be options. If you have done the google form that is you signed up, apologies for no confirmation emails. If your in doubt just email us to check.
