After the success of previous Flowers From The Farm Scotland Gatherings and another very busy year for Scottish flower growers and florists , we are delighted to offer a really exciting day to mark the end of the season.
We are very excited this year to be presenting the Gathering with the support of Flowers From the Farm and the Scottish Flower Grower Collective, and the event will be open to members of both organisations.
This year we have multiple presenters coming along on the day: the extraordinarily talented Cynthia Fan will be demonstrating her beautiful work (and incredible knowledge of Ikebana), and enticing us out of our comfort zones to work with our flowers in a different way.
We will also have Celine Delabre from NaturScot and Finley and Hayley from Seeds of Scotland to talk about agroecological growing and seed saving.
We will have coffee and pastries on arrival, followed by a lovely lunch and allow for time for discussion and debrief of the 2025 cut flower season.
Monday October 6, 10am - 4pm:
Cost for Monday £50
To keep costs down we will be asking members to bring along a bucket of flowers or foliage to share which can be used in the workshop. (more details to follow)
Please get in touch if you have any questions about what to bring or what is planned, and let us know of any dietary requirements ASAP.
For those wanting to come and stay over on Sunday evening:
We are arranging to have a lovely evening on Sunday night with a chance for a much needed debrief and catch up, a meal (and for those interested - a group booking at Comrie Croft’s lovely Nowhere Sauna ).
You can book accommodation on site at Comrie Croft. There are limited rooms and it will help if people can arrange when booking to share rooms. Beds are £52 per person.( Please book directly with Comrie Croft ASAP - by phone- so you can let them know you are attending the FFTF event as they have reserved accommodation for us)- PH: 01764 670140
Let us know if you are staying over and would like to join us for dinner or the sauna booking. Further details will be sent out closer to the event.
